(From Ozark Funeral Home)Juanita Smith, 82 of Joplin, Missouri, formerly of Lanagan, Missouri passed away at Solace house in Joplin, Missouri on Friday, September 16, 2022, with her loving family by her side.
She entered this life on March 29, 1940 in Clever, Missouri, born to the late, William and Nora (Stevens) Sartin. Juanita lived in Des Moines, Iowa, moved to Lanagan, Missouri where she lived most of her life, before moving to the Spring River Christian Village in Joplin, Missouri.
Juanita was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 52 years, Donald (Bun) Smith and eight siblings.
She is survived by her daughters, Sheila Wilkins, Paula Wolfe; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; as well as a host of other family and friends.
No Formal services are planned. The family would like to thank Solace House, all of the volunteers and Hospice. Memorial contributions in loving memory of Juanita may be given to the Solace House of the Ozarks; 2425 Mina Avenue; Joplin, Missouri 64804.
