Rhondo “Ron” Lee Brown, age 78, passed away in the comfort of his home on Sunday, September 25, 2022. He was born March 26, 1944, in West Point, Ohio, to the late Charles and Elizabeth Brown.
Ron served in the United States Army. After the Army, he worked as a maintenance man and was self-employed. He was a devoted Christian and attended the Diamond First Baptist Church for many years. He loved to write cards to his ministry and spend time with his dog Peanut.
Ron was united in marriage to Lianna Mae (Bartley) Brown on August 29, 1994, in Cassville, Missouri. She preceded him in death on January 13, 2020.
He will be lovingly remembered by his five children, Robert (Marcia) Shodeen of Yukon, Oklahoma; Tammy (Uwe) Pruss of Carthage, Missouri; Susan Pye and James Geiger of Salisaw, Oklahoma, Jay Brown of Delilah, Florida, Sarah Chism of Jacksonville, Florida; three siblings, Jay Brown, Emma Satler, Margaret Mitchell; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by his parents, son, David Sitodeen, and fourteen siblings.
A graveside service with full military honors will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 30, 2022, at the Diamond Cemetery in Diamond, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 6:00- 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at Clark Funeral Home in Neosho, Missouri. Serving as pallbearers will be Joshua Lee, Uwe Allan, Bryan Shodeen, Brandon Shodeen, and Robert Shodeen.
