Joe Endicott

Joseph Lee Endicott, 69, of Sarcoxie, Missouri, surrounded by his loved ones, peacefully entered into the gates of heaven, on September 3, 2022.

Joe was born in Carthage, Missouri on June 14, 1953 to the union of Raymond & Ruby "Imogene" (Kelly) Endicott. He graduated Sarcoxie High School in 1971 & received an Associate of Science degree in law enforcement at Missouri Southern State University, Joplin Missouri. 








He was employed with the Missouri Highway State Patrol, retiring after twenty-nine years as a Commercial Vehicle Officer supervisor. Joe was known by many as "Joe, the fixit Man" & one known not to be idle, he then worked with family doing construction & odd jobs, did maintenance for Sarcoxie Nursing Center & retired again after working for the Sarcoxie School District as Transportation Director.

He enjoyed & loved spending time with his children & grandchildren, going to the lake & camping with friends, tinkering & doing projects in his workshop. Joe was a member of First Baptist Sarcoxie Church, where he served as a Deacon & on different teams.

Joe married his high school sweetheart, Kathy Farrell on June 16, 1973, just celebrated forty-nine years of marriage together. They were blessed with five children & they were foster parents for twenty-three years to over sixty children.

Survivors along with his wife, include his children, Justin (Amber) Endicott, Joplin, Mo, Andrew (Krissy) Endicott, Sarcoxie, MO, Nikkitie Endicott, Carl Junction, MO, Ciceleigh Endicott (fiancé Kelton McLanahan) Sarcoxie, MO; sister in-law Sandra(Tom)Shouse Webb City, MO; brother in-laws Leroy Conard, Osceola, MO and Glenn Carver, Pierce City, MO; nine grandchildren, Riley Endicott, Hannah Endicott, Garrett Endicott, Cade Endicott, Aubrey King, Kinlea King, Ryklea Garner, Peyton Enoch and Paxton Enoch and a multitude of nieces & nephews.








Joe was preceded in death by a son, Matthew Endicott; his parents; his in- laws Chet & Shirley Farrell; siblings Peggy Conard, Raymah (Mason) Colley, Sam Endicott, Denny Endicott & Linda Carver.

Visitation with family will be held, Saturday September 10, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Sarcoxie Church. Memorial service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Pastors Kody Dowell and Sam Wilson officiating, with graveside service following at the Sarcoxie Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers are Larry Ray, Carlyle McCaskill, Rob Greathouse, Chris Plybon, Rick Colley & Tom Conard. His body has been taken for creation. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at the funeral home to First Baptist Sarcoxie Church toward the "Joe Fixit Fund" for church improvements. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Housh-Goodwin Funeral in Sarcoxie, Missouri.
