(From Parker Mortuary)John Drennan, who was brought into this world on October 11th, 1947, left this world after a battle with cancer on September 1st, 2022, at the age of 74.
Survivors include Martha, his wife of 50 years, a stepdaughter, Sherry LaFave who preceded him in death, a stepson, Terry Tracy and his wife Marsha and a stepdaughter Elizabeth Rissmiller. Also surviving is his sister Sharon Weston and her husband Willis and their 5 children. He also leaves 9 step-grandchildren and 13 step-great-grandchildren.
As a young man he served 4 years in the United States Marine Corp in Vietnam. After the service he taught school in Arkansas as well as in Missouri. Shortly after his teaching career, he was employed by the Pillsbury Company for several years. He finished his employment career as a custodian at Webb City High School.
He enjoyed reading, listening to classical music, watching various documentaries, and taking walks. His funny jokes, good stories, and sense of humor will be deeply missed.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 4th, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in Parker Mortuary Chapel. The interment will be held on Tuesday, September 6th, 2022 at Osborne Memorial Cemetery at 1:00 p.m.
There will be a time for family and friends to gather for a visitation on Saturday, September 3rd, 2022 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. in Parker Mortuary Chapel.
