J.D. Osborn passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. He was 91 years young.
J.D. was born on September 15, 1927 in Camdenton, Missouri to the late Elfred and Eva Treese Osborn. J.D. joined the Navy at an early age and was active in WWII and the Korean War.
He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Vera June Osborn; his children, Janice Finegan and husband Jim of Salida, Colorado; Terry Osborn of San Diego, California; one granddaughter; Christina Gailitis of Johnstown, Colorado; two great grandchildren; Blaine Gailitis and Kyliana Gailitis; nieces, nephews and numerous friends.
J.D. joined the Wal-Mart team and retired as an internal auditor after 20 years. His hobbies were boating and fishing.
No formal services are planned, his wishes were cremation. Contributions may be made in J.D.'s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
