(From Parker Mortuary)Mildred Louise Demko, 73 of Carl Junction, MO, went home to be with Jesus January 16, 2022, at Solace House, in the care of Avalon Hospice, Joplin.
Louise was born August 17, 1948, in Doddridge County, West Virginia. She was the middle child of the late William Rex Wildman and Mary A. Stephens Wildman of West Union, WV, and the granddaughter of the late Walter S. Stephens and Orphia Moore Stephens of Salem, WV, an infant sister Brenda Louise Wildman and a brother Rexall K. Wildman; also paternal grandparents the late William “Willie” Wildman and Ella Fox Wildman preceded her in death.
She is survived by a daughter, Mari Jo Lassiter(Scott) and a grandson Christopher Seams both of Florida; an older sister with whom she lived for a few years, Leona C. (Wildman) Rice of Carl Junction, MO. A former husband, Nicholas Demko, also survives, as does a niece Carol Thompson Weaver & husband David; two nephews: Philip Thompson (Jean) and Rob (Ginny) Thompson. She leaves behind special friends Shirley Harris and Donnie Mancil in Florida, Cathy Chew; nieces Stephanie, Ashley, Sarah & nephews Daniel, Nathan and a host of other friends.
She was a 1966 graduate of Doddridge County High School in West Union, WV. Before leaving her home in Stuart, Florida, in 2017, where she had lived for over 30 years, she was employed at Wojcieszak & Associates, as an Administrative Assistant for several years. She was a member & church clerk of Christian Victory Center.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at 11:00 AM with burial to be held at a later date. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Wednesday beginning at 10:00 AM until service time at the mortuary. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Alzheimer's Association.
