(From Parker Mortuary)The youngest child of the late Bill and Betty (Burrows) Turner, born March 24th 1956, Marcia is survived by two sisters: Glenda Turner Cloud and Cynthia Turner, both of Joplin, as well as her brother, David Turner and wife, Karen of Waco, Tx.
Marcia, a lifelong Joplin resident, was a graduate of Joplin Memorial High School, class of 1974. She attended Apostolic Faith Bible College in Baxter Springs, Ks in 1974 and 1975. She was a faithful member of Community Chapel Church in Joplin, as well.
A 30-year employee of the JC Penney Co., Marcia retired in 2012.
Nieces and nephews abound who will dearly miss her. Among them are: Tara (Ryan) Clark of Bella Vista, Ar; Gillian Cloud of Colorado Springs, Co; David Price Cloud of Joplin and Caitlin (Daniel) Bard of Jasper, Mo. Also included is Amanda (Jacob) Beyerlein of Pflugerville, Tx; Benjamin-David (Vanessa) Turner of Rhome, Tx. And Lee Eric Turner of Houston, Tx.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be held Saturday, January 8th at 11:00 am at Community Chapel Church, 2740 E. 26th St., Joplin, Mo.
