Alan Counts

Alan Counts, 56, Stella, Missouri, died April 9, 2016 at National Healthcare in Joplin, from complications of a car accident in August, 2015. 

 Alan was born June 2, 1959 in West Plains, Missouri and had moved to the Southwest Missouri area in June of 2006 from St. Louis. He worked as a cook at Indigo Sky Casino and he enjoyed cooking, he was an avid Cardinals Fan and he especially enjoyed spending time with his family. 

 Alan and April (Hill) were married on December 12, 1998 at West Plains and she survives. Additional survivors include two sons, James Counts and wife, Dusti of Edmond, OK and Tyler Counts of the home; one grandson, Jaxon Counts; his father, Jerry Counts of West Plains and three sisters, Deborah Greenfield of St. Louis; Brenda Lewis and husband, Delbert of West Plains and Carmen Wilson of Mt. Home, AR.
