Janis Lee Jones age 60, of Joplin, Mo passed away Tuesday March 29, 2016 at her home.
She was born on December 31, 1955 in Joplin, Mo the daughter of Theodore G. and Fern June “Potts” Jackson. She married Richard Jones on December 28, 1974 in Joplin, Mo. Janis worked as an Administrative Assistant with Integrity Healthcare and attended College Heights Christian Church. Janis was a loving and caring individual who took wonderful care of people especially her husband. She loved decorating and making things beautiful.
She was preceded in death by her dad and a brother Donald Jackson. She is survived by her husband Richard of the Home, her mother Fern Jackson of Joplin, Mo, two brothers: Ted Jackson of Denver, Co and Gerald Jackson of Joplin, Mo
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday April 4, 2016 at the Mason-Woodard Mortuary with Pastor Troy Webb officiating. Burial will follow in the Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery, Joplin, Mo. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to service time Monday at the Mortuary.
