Ron McConnell

Ronald Andrew McConnell, 58, Neosho, died April 14, 2016. 

 He was born November 29, 1957 in McAlester, Oklahoma, the son of William Andrew and Margie (Hyatt) McConnell. Ron moved to Neosho from McAlester in 1986. He was the owner and operator of Neosho Gun and Pawn for the last 28 years. He enjoyed going to gun shows and studying his Bible and loved spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He especially enjoyed going to Silver Dollar City with his family. 

 Ron married Angie Mund on August 30, 1986 in Neosho, and she survives. Also surviving are his father, William (Bill) McConnell of McAlester, OK; three children, Andrea Doke and husband, Phillip, Emily Lewis and husband, Harold (Scooter) and Josh McConnell, all of Neosho; four grandchildren, Landon Doke, Lyndsey Doke, Braylon Lewis and Bostyn Lewis; one sister, Debbie Botts of Duncan, OK and two brothers-in-law, Michael Mund and Greg Mund, both of Bonne Terre, MO. Ron is preceded in death by his mother; brother, James Lewis McConnell and grandson, Beckham Lewis.
