LaDon D. Burnett, age 44, of Purdy, Missouri, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2016, in her home.
She was born January 21, 1972, in Rogers, Arkansas, the daughter of Carl and Joyce (Stebens) Burnett, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death was a great-nephew, Aaron East.
Surviving are her best friend, Stan Marney of Purdy, Missouri; one brother, Carl Loyd Burnett, Jr. of Neosho, Missouri; two sisters, Iva Lee Humphrey of Joplin, Missouri and Therese Sharp of Rocky Comfort, Missouri; one nephew, Derek Burnett; seven nieces, Crystal, Tabbatha, Vivian, Kylie, Tasha, Savanna and Sidnie; five great nephews and four great nieces.
LaDon graduated from high school in McDonald County. For several years she was a bartender at Double Deuce in Wheaton. Some of her favorite pastimes were fishing, swimming, camping and hunting. She was a free spirited and fun loving woman. There wasn’t anything she couldn’t do. Put a hammer in her hands and she would outwork the men. She loved the outdoors. When it came to summer time she was a river rat. She loved her family and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 12 noon Thursday, April 14, 2016, in Rocky Comfort Cemetery, under direction of McQueen Funeral Home, Wheaton.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday in McQueen Funeral Home, Wheaton.
