George Lee Pinho, 71, Seneca, MO passed into eternal rest at 10:04 pm, April 1, 2016 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin after a sudden illness.
George Lee Pinho was born March 30, 1945 in Joplin, MO the son of George and Mamie (Scott) Pinho. For the past year Lee worked for the City of Seneca at the City’s recycling center. He formerly was a teacher for 2 years in California, 2 years in Australia and 2 years in Avilla, MO. Lee coached basketball while teaching. He also served his country during the Vietnam War in the Navy where he was a Medic and a Dental Assistant. Lee retired from the Milnot Company in Seneca in 2013.
George Lee Pinho married Allana Braziel, February 18, 1980 in Midland, TX and she survives.
Additional survivors include daughters, Leah Pinho, Seneca, Chrisy Pinho and Amy Pinho both of California and step-daughter Debbie Sampson, Seneca; half-brothers, Donny Collins, Joplin, Tommy Deems, Springfield and Mike Collins Carthage, MO; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Live Visitation will be held at 7:00 PM, Monday, April 5, 2016 at the Turning Point Church, located on K highway in Seneca, MO.
The body has been taken for cremation under the personal direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.
