James Marvin Parker, 71, Neosho, died April 2, 2016 in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
He was born June 14, 1944 in Council Bluffs, Iowa, the son of Donald and Josie (Bailey) Parker. He had been a Neosho resident for over 40 years and served in the U.S. Air Force and had worked as a mechanic for Goodyear. He was a member of the VFW Post 4142 and the DAV.
James married Edna Parker and she preceded him in death on August 6, 2008. He is survived by a son, Michael Parker; two step-sons, Lee Waddle and Darin Waddle; one brother, Les Parker; one sister, Janice Coon; ten grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. In addition to his wife, James is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Don Parker and two step children, Denise Leer and Denny Waddle.
The visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 pm
