(From Clark Funeral Home)Paul Richardson, 65 of Granby, Missouri, entered into rest on December 16, 2021, following a sudden illness at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin. Paul was born May 25, 1956, in Neosho, one of two children to Wayne and Alta (Smith) Richardson. He was a lifelong area resident.
He graduated from East Newton High School and continued his education at the University of Missouri-Rolla. Paul worked as an engineer for MO-Dot for 31 years and following his retirement from Mo-Dot, he worked at Harley Davidson for three years, as event planner for the City of Neosho for three years and as an independent event planner for three years.
He enjoyed riding motorcycles, planning community events, fishing and ministering and supporting Teen Challenge. He professed his faith at a young age and attended Jones Chapel and Northside Baptist Church.
Paul and Linda (Hunter) were married on April 16, 1982, in Springfield, Missouri and she survives.
In addition to Linda, he is survived by five children, Christy Mitchell, Nicholas Richardson, Samantha Richardson, Gregory Richardson and Jason Boyher; his mother, Alta Richardson; sister, Lynn McLaughlin; five grandchildren, Troy Begey, Isiah Richardson, Katie Richardson, John Hoffman and Graham Mitchell and numerous other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Wayne.
