(From Konantz Warden Funeral Home)Tracy Ann Fasken Turner, age 59, of Plano, Texas, passed away on December 23, 2021 at UT Southwestern Clements Hospital. Tracy, daughter of the late Lawrence Ray and Patricia Ann (Hargis) Fasken, was born on April 22, 1962 in Carthage, Missouri.
She was a graduate of Jasper High School, where she was active in cheerleading, 4H, music, and many other activities. She attended Missouri Southern State College, where she was also active on campus in several organizations including College Republicans and the local Delta Gamma chapter, having served as President of both.
She graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Bachelor of Accountancy. She was a Certified Public Accountant.
Tracy’s greatest love was her family. She married her college sweetheart, Chris Turner on August 30, 1986 and together they have two sons, Sam (Jacy) of Denver, Colorado and Jake (Kelsey) of Rogers, Arkansas. All survive her.
A great sports mom and frequent team mom, Tracy spent many happy hours at hockey rinks across America, along with cheering her sons and their teams at baseball, football and golf. Tracy’s home was always full of kids of all ages, who affectionately nicknamed her “Mom Bomb”. (You know why.)
Additional survivors include her brother, Craig Fasken (Melissa) and their daughter Piper of Dallas; her aunt, Sandy Blackford (Kenneth) of Joplin and extended family.
In addition to her parents, Tracy was preceded in death by an infant sister, Amanda.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Allen Family Funeral Options in Plano, Texas with burial the following day Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Lake Cemetery in Lamar, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests Memorial contributions be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation in memory of Tracy Turner.
