(From Parker Mortuary)Edna June Lauck, age 83, Joplin, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Mercy of Joplin.
June was born June 6, 1938 in San Bernardino, California, daughter of the late Walter Ezra Lauck and Jewel Juanita (Browne) Lauck.
Ms. June was never married and worked for years as a nurse’s aide. She was a member of Harmony Heights Baptist Church of Joplin. She enjoyed bowling and participated in several leagues and was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals. She also enjoyed fishing, and spending time with her family.
She is lovingly survived by sisters, Susan Hulsey, and her husband, Jerry, of Joplin, Joan Dame, and her husband, Steven, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Judy Hall, and her husband, Ken, of Springfield, Missouri, and Alice Lucas of Greenwood, Indiana; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Highland Park Cemetery in Pittsburg, KS. Friends and family may view on Tuesday, December 21st during normal operational hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the Harmony Heights Baptist Church of Joplin (youth programs) and may be entrusted to the mortuary.
Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin.
