Johnnie Ellis

It is with sadness in our hearts to announce the passing of Johnnie Wayne Ellis of Reeds, MO. Johnnie was born on October 24, 1974 and passed on December 22, 2021, at only 47 years of age. 

He was such an amazing soul with an unremarkable amount of knowledge, unconditional love for his
family, and was a man of the cosmos. 

Johnnie was the most devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing with his grandchildren, bonfires, expanding his knowledge, fossil hunting, and so much more. He was such a wonderful man with a heart of gold. 

He is preceded in death with his mother Stella Simpson. 

He is survived by his biological father Sam James, and dad Brian Simpson; his loving wife of 26 years, Teresa Ellis; Grandmother Joyce James; His mother and father in law Tresa and John Meisenheimer; Daughter Kaile Armer and husband Brian Armer; Daughter Brittney Hibdon and husband Chris Hibdon; Son Johnnie Ellis II and wife Mariah Ellis; Daughter Samantha Ellis; 8 grandchildren; Carson Armer, Skylar Armer, Zaylen Grant, Braxton Tucker, Annalia Ellis, Xander Armer, Arabella Ellis, and Hayden Armer; 2 sisters Angel James and Christina James; Brother John Simpson and wife Kylie Simpson; 2 lifelong brothers Robert Bonin and James Clark Jr; and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family of Johnnie will be holding a celebration of life on Saturday, January 1, 2022 at the Memorial Hall in Carthage, MO. at 10:30 A.M.
