(From Clark Funeral Home)Mary A. Lankford was born December 20, 1947, in Newton County, Missouri, one of nine children to Marion and Mable (Stuckey) Gillmore. She entered into rest in the comfort of her home on December 28, 2021, at the age of 74.
Mary was a graduate of Diamond High School and a lifelong area resident. She worked at Granby Manufacturing as a machine operator and then at Exod as an upholsterer. She enjoyed being outside and was a member of the Silver Moon Church of God Holiness.
Mary and Larry Lankford were married on June 28, 1975, at Hilldale Baptist Church and he survives.
In addition to her husband of 46 years, Mary is survived by two brothers, Robert (Judy) Gillmore and Pastor Steve (Glenna) Gillmore, both of Neosho; five sisters, Charlotte (Jerry) Tuggle of Granby, Sharon (Ken) Sadowski of Neosho, Wanda (Bob) Tudor of Claremore, Oklahoma, Vicki Gillmore of Diamond and Debbie (Richard) Jarnagin of Neosho and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Joan Gibbens, and niece, Carmilla Kassner.
