(From Ozark Funeral Home)We are saddened by the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father and pappy. Steven Ross Thomas, 65, of Anderson, Missouri, departed this life on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, in the comfort of his home.
Steve loved his family and grandchildren more than life itself. He was always there to offer help, advice or a loving embrace for when there were no words.
Steve was a lifelong carpenter and owner operator of 4 State Concrete in Anderson. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, driving fast, time on the water and especially time in the mountains with the ones he loved.
A kind and gentle man, Steve would tell the boys, “Settle down, quit wrestling” and to Laynie. Hootie Hoot! I loved all of you!
Steve is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Ross Thomas and Anna Faye (Cook) Thomas and grandson, Tyler Thomas.
Steve is survived by his wife of forty-three years, Tami Orler Thomas; one son, Steven Victor Thomas; an almost daughter, Donyelle Thomas; three grandchildren, Keaton Victor Thomas, Hayden Ross Thomas and Laynie Thomas; one great grandson, Grayson Ross Thomas; two brothers, Richard Thomas and Russell Thomas and wife, Diane; two sisters, Sandy Todd and Sarah Thomas; extended family, Sara Divine, Loretta Garrison and husband, Ted, Larry Morris, David Morris, Debbie Montgomery and husband, Glenn and Teresa Orler and husband, Robin; as well as a host of other family and friends.
A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday evening, December 28, 2021 from 5-7:00 p.m. in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes.
