(From Clark Funeral Home)Clifford Eugene Guinn was born August 26, 1926, one of six children born to James Edwards and Meda Jane (Sanders) Guinn. He entered into rest on December 17, 2021 at his home in Stella at the age of 95.
He was born at home in the Elkhorn Community, near McNatt. He attended Barlow, a one room schoolhouse near his home until the 8th grade. Clifford was a lifelong resident of the Stella and McNatt areas.
He married the love of his life, Roxie Ann VanSlyke on May 20, 1944.
He was drafted into the Army at the age of 25 during the Korean Conflict, serving from January 1952-January 1954. Following his service in the military, he and Roxie came back home to Stella and began a family dairy farm and later in life, a beef cattle operation.
After enjoying 72 years of marriage, Roxie preceded him in death on Nov. 27, 2016.
Clifford enjoyed attending church, traveling with his wife, his walks on the farm, reading and spending time with his family. He was a faithful member of Stella Baptist Church since the mid 1940’s.
Clifford is survived by one sister, Joina Heck of the McNatt Community; two sons, Klint Guinn and wife, Vickie and Keith Guinn and wife, Sheila of Stella; three granddaughters, Jaysa Bookwalter and husband, Nate of Uniontown, Ohio, Jaclyn McCully and husband, Nick of Stella, Rachel Neher and husband, Aaron of Stella; three grandsons, Joe Guinn and wife, Mindy of Stella, David Guinn and wife, Beth of Lamar and Justin Guinn and wife, Kaci of Stark City; seventeen great grandchildren, Shelby, Taylor, Mason, Kaitlyn, Josie, Morgan, Alivia, Cole, Jaxson, Caleb, Remi, Wyatt, Sadi, Emma, Matthew, Silas and one to be born in July, 2022.
Great granddaughter, Maci Faith preceded him in death at two weeks old. In addition to his wife and great granddaughter, Clifford is preceded in death by his parents, by a sister, two brothers and twin sister.
