(From McQueen Funeral Home)Addie Luetta Lesher, age 85, of Stella, Missouri passed away Monday, December 20, 2021 at Medicalodges Neosho in Neosho, Missouri.
She was born June 25, 1936 in Neosho, Missouri the daughter of Herman and Luetta (Wagoner) Chase. In California in 1962 she was united in marriage to Frank R. Lesher, who preceded her in death on May 19, 2007. Also preceding her in death were her parents; three brothers, Sammie Chase, Chester Chase and Carroll Wayne Chase; one daughter, Dorothy Louise Harvel and one granddaughter, Wendy Harvel.
Surviving is one brother, George Chase, his wife Michelle and family of Granby, Missouri.
Addie graduated high school then attended college in California. In 1991 she and Frank moved back to Missouri. She was a hard worker, with some of her occupations being a hairdresser, a hairdressing instructor and managing restaurants. Then she was a General Manager at Denny’s for nineteen years and a Real Estate Agent for eight years. Raising chickens and cattle went along with her love of animals especially dogs and cats. Researching genealogy and Civil War were hobbies along with her flowers and her love of traveling and sightseeing.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 P.M. Monday, January 3, 2022 at Dice Cemetery in Fairview under direction of McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton. Reverend Billy Joe Gentry will conduct the services.
