(From Clark Funeral Home)Robert L. Redden was born July 28, 1944, in Webb City, Missouri, one of two sons to William J. and Dorothy L. (Lassiter) Redden. He entered into rest on December 3, 2021, in Joplin at the age of 77.
He was a lifelong area resident and worked in the construction industry as a cabinet maker. He served his country in the National Guard for eight years.
Robert was a gifted craftsman in cabinetry and had worked on the Capital Building, many hospitals and churches. He enjoyed fishing and driving his farm toys. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church, which he also helped to build.
Robert married Gloria M. (Hembree) on December 24, 1962, in Miami, Oklahoma and she survives.
In addition to his wife of 58 years, he is survived by two children, Robin Redden and Randy Redden, both of Neosho; three grandchildren, Cody Redden, Niccara Varela and Cierra Varela; four great grandchildren, Levi, Brooklyn, Myah, Andrea, Kobe and Kyle.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, William J. Redden, Jr.
