Ron Fitzer

Ronald M. Fitzer, age 58 of Galena, KS passed away suddenly at his home on December 1, 2021.

Ron was born April 12, 1963 in Joplin, MO to Don and Rayma (Corn) Fitzer, who survive. Ron graduated from Galena High School in 1981. He lived all of his life in the Galena area. He retired from Kansas Gas Service in 2020 after 17 years of service. His favorite pastime was fishing, boating, relaxing on Shoal Creek and watching old western movies.

He is survived by his wife, Diane (Walton) Fitzer of 38 years. 

Also surviving are two daughters, Heather Tucker (husband, Branden) of Independence, MO and Krysta Fitzer of Joplin, MO; one brother Kenneth "Kenny" Fitzer (wife, Cindy), McLoud, OK; and 5 grandchildren Lucas and Henry Tucker and Mason, Maddox and Carlene Rogers.

Ron was entrusted to Derfelt Funeral Home, Galena, KS for cremation. No services are planned.
