Paula Hoy

Mrs. Paula Elaine Hoy, 62 of Noel, Missouri departed this life on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at her home.

Paula was born April 22, 1959, in Kansas City, Missouri to the late Paul and Doris (Divine) Killion. She grew up in the Kansas City area and attended school at Park Hill High. 

On June 18, 1977, she was united in marriage to Wayne D. Hoy. They moved to Noel Missouri in 1985. 








 Paula was a homemaker and enjoyed raising her family. Paula spent her spare time bettering her community by volunteering for the Kiwanis Program, the Noel Baseball Program, and the local 4H Club. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society and different book clubs. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren and coaching local baseball teams.

Paula was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Wayne in 2018.

Paula is survived three children, Jeremy Hoy and wife, Misty of Noel, Missouri, Wendy Collins and husband Bryan also of Noel, and Michelle Laber and husband, Craig, of Independence, Missouri, twelve grandchildren, Kelsey, Leslie, Jesse, Kylie, Deserae, Jaden, Steven, Dannie, Mercadies, Jonathon, Kristina and Jeremy Jr., a great grandchild and one more on the way, a sister; Sandra Brooner of Anderson, Missouri, and nephews; Scott Powell of Noel and Chris Powell and wife Kim of Virginia as well as a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Paula Hoy will be held on Thursday January 13, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ozark Funeral Home in Noel, Missouri with Pastor Cecil Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the Butler Creek Cemetery near Sulphur Springs, AR. 

Those honoring Paula’s life by serving as pallbearers are; James Walls, Rick Winfree Jr., Mike Webb, Robbie Meadows, John Dornon, and Randy Winfree. Honorary pallbearers will be Steven James, Jonathon Collins, and Jesse Housh. The family will receive friends from noon until 2:00 p.m. on the day of the service. 

In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorial donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in care of the funeral home.
