Dee Malinowski

(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)

Dolores Francis Jennings Malinowski
April 2, 1935 – September 1, 2022.
Sallisaw, OK, Salem, NJ, Joplin, MO

Dee would like you to know that her work here is done. Mom received an invitation, the kind you cannot refuse; one for which she had awaited a lifetime (31,930 days to be exact). From this last journey she will not return.

Heaven reunites minds freed from dementia’s kidnap-grip; Mom can see again through youthful, forever-eyes. Her new home comes with a phenomenal view, a reunion with family long unseen, where she will “go a-visitin”, charmed by southern-fried family stories told by those who actually lived them. Abundant laughter, love and an amazing church choir are guaranteed. Food is delicious and you never gain an ounce. Mom, an English major raised by two teachers, naturally taught school herself. She left detailed instructions to celebrate her life, including adherence to proper grammar, spelling and sentence structure.

Dolores was preceded in death by her Father Robert Jennings, Mother Eula Faulkner Jennings, Brother Bob Jennings, and Niece Tanya Jennings.

Dolores is survived by three sons, Kent Malinowski (Laura) of W. Palm Beach, FL, Kevin Malinowski (JC) of Ashburn, VA, and Kerry Malinowski (Tina) of Spokane, MO. She is survived by sister-in-law Lynnae Jennings of Mebane, NC. Dolores was survived by five Grandchildren, Stacy Bucherie of FL, Leah Lynch of FL, Miranda Malinowski of Boston, MA, Ian Malinowski of Ridgedale, MO, and Zane Malinowski of Spokane, MO. She was also survived by eight Nieces and Nephews, Amy and Scott St. Louis of Lexington, NC, Chantal and CJ Click of Chapel Hill, NC, Bobby and Haley Jennings of Wilson, NC, and Aaron and Spenser Jennings of Mebane, NC.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
