(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Mrs. Janetta Clara Robertson (Dougan), age 103, of Joplin, Missouri is in heaven now. She passed away peacefully on September 7th, 2022.
She was born February 2nd, 1919 in Competition, Missouri, a daughter of the late Oren and Edith Dougan. Janetta was the oldest of 8 children.
Janetta was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard (Link) Robertson. The couple married in 1936 and lived in Carthage, Missouri. Janetta and Link had 3 children.
Janetta was a wonderful homemaker, a member of the Second Assembly of God Church where she used to teach Sunday school. She had a love for gardening and making quilts in her spare time.
Janetta is preceded in death by all 7 of her siblings, her grandson, Scotty Robertson, her son-in-law, Max Dodson, and her son Keith Robertson.
Janetta is survived by her daughter Loetta Dodson and her son and daughter-in-law, Calvin and Judy Robertson. She also leaves behind a long list of 20-plus grandchildren and in-laws whom she cherished dearly.
