Ruby Mae Haddock, 89, of Grove, Oklahoma, departed this life on Sunday, September 4, 2022, in the comfort of her home.
Ruby entered this life on August 13, 1933, in Anderson, Missouri, the only daughter born to the late Willie and Norma (Cook) Baker. She was raised east of Anderson and was a 1951 graduate of Rocky Comfort High School.
On May 5, 1951, she was united in marriage to Robert Glenn “Bob” Haddock and to this union six sons and one daughter were born.
In 1965, they moved their family to Claremore, Oklahoma, where Ruby was a devoted homemaker and Bob worked for American Airlines in Tulsa as a mechanic. In 1981, they retired to Grove, Oklahoma. She enjoyed gardening and canning and was an avid volunteer with Claremore and Grove public schools.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of sixty years, Bob Haddock on December 30, 2011; three sons, Ray, Rick and Troy Haddock; and two brothers, Bobby and Bill Baker.
Ruby is survived by her four children, Terry Haddock and wife, Marolyn, of Claremore, Oklahoma, Sheryl Bunyard of Grove, Ron Haddock and wife, Bertha, of Anderson and Tracy Haddock of Grove; several grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren; as well as a host of other family and friends.
No formal services will be held at this time. Private burial will take place at Tracy Cemetery in Anderson, Missouri. Arrangements are under the direction of the Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Missouri.
