(From Ozark Funeral Home)Brian Louis Sutton, 44, of Anderson, Missouri, a cherished husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away on Wednesday afternoon, September 4, 2024, at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma, after a valiant battle with his health. He was born on April 21, 1980, in Houston, Missouri, to the union of Tommy and Hazel (Davis) Sutton.
Raised in the small community of Yukon, Missouri, Brian was a graduate of Plato High School, class of 1998. His early education laid the foundation for a life characterized by hard work, dedication, and a love for the outdoors. Brian's work ethic was evident in his career in roofing construction, where he spent most of his life providing for his family.
A man who found solace in the beauty of nature, he was often found exploring the great outdoors, traveling to new places, and embracing the adventure that each day brought. His passion for working with his hands extended beyond his professional life, as he took great joy in tackling projects and creating lasting memories with his loved ones.
Family was the cornerstone of Brian's world. He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter with his beloved wife, Jennifer Sutton, and their twelve children: Jesse Politte and wife Dessie Yaws, Michael Sutton and wife Zarina, Jared Sutton, Jodee Politte Luther, David Sutton, Kole Politte, Kaden Politte, Nathan Sutton, Cherokee Sutton, Jaymes Sutton, Jericho Sutton, and Willow Sutton. His life was further enriched by the joy of his granddaughter, Joanna Politte. Brian's unwavering love and guidance will forever be cherished by his mother, Hazel Davis, and his sisters, Chandra and Alanna Sutton. His memory will also be held dear by his numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other family members and friends who were blessed to know him. Brian was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Sutton, with whom he now shares eternal peace.
Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at the Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Missouri with Pastor Austin Wylly officiating. Burial will follow at the Sutton Family Cemetery in Anderson.
Those honoring his life by serving as pallbearers are John Klossner, Victor Sutton, Dakota Wolf, Jesse Politte, Jodee Politte Luther and Steven Hoffman. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 5-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials are being directed to the family c/o the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of the Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Missouri.
