Delbert Crow

Delbert L. Crow, 93, Carthage, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2015 at Mercy Hospital, Joplin, MO.  Delbert Lee Crow was born September 2, 1921 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, a son of the late Oda Crow and Laverna May Cameron Crow.  He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during WWII.  He married Wilda Johnson on June 8, 1968 in Carthage; she survives.  Delbert was a carpenter, working many construction jobs in the Carthage area.

Additional survivors include; three daughters, Leona Hong, House Springs, MO, Danielle Doubet, Adair, OK and Hayley Crow, Webb City, MO; two sons, Leroy Boatwright and wife Kathy, Grove, OK and Charlie Crow and wife Julie, Webb City, MO; two step-daughters, Charlotte Bice and husband Larry, Carthage and Linda McCaskill and husband Carlyle, Carthage; two sisters, Wanda Fields, Carthage and Loetta Stidham, Lockwood, MO; one brother, Virgil “Sonny” Crow and wife Jeanine, Carthage; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Delbert was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Thelma Goodnight and one brother, Glenn Crow.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 7:00 PM, Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Knell Mortuary, Carthage.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 11, 2015 in the Knell Mortuary Chapel. Minister Brandon Lewis will officiate.  Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, Carthage. Online condolences may be expressed through www.knellmortuary.com.
