Dennis Garrison Sr., 61, of Carthage passed away June 23, 2015 at Mercy Hospital Springfield, MO. Dennis was born October 4, 1953 in Joplin MO. to Robert and Francis Garrison.Dennis was a lifetime Jasper County resident and a self employed diesel mechanic.
Dennis is survived by his life partner of 32 years Donetta McMillen, two sons Dennis Garrison Jr. of Carthage and Charlie Tandy of Carthage, one step-son Mike Sammons of Texas, two step-daughters Paul Brown of Owasso, OK and Michelle Hall of Avilla, MO. one sister Nancy Pietrzak (John) of Joplin, MO, three brothers Freddie “Fred” (Susan) of Reeds, MO, Roger Garrison (Gina) of Waggoner, Ok, and Paul Garrison (Debbie) of Alba, MO, two aunts Hattie Galick and Maxine Hull and one uncle Cecil Ritchie. Eleven grandchildren and numerous nieces,nephews and cousins.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday June 27, 2015 at Reeds Cemetery, Reeds Missouri. Visitation will be held 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday June 26, 2015 at Ulmer Funeral Home.
