Steven Thomas Hunter, 60 of Lowry City, Missouri, entered into rest on June 14, 2015 in Springfield, Missouri.
Steven was born July 12, 1954 in Atchison, Kansas, the son of LeRoy ‘Sonny’ and Margaret (Downing) Hunter. During his career, Mr. Hunter was employed at CFI-Conway for 30 years and in addition, he was a Newton County reserve deputy for 20 years. He also served in the National Guard. Steven is survived by his wife, Denise Hunter of the home; three sons, Jonathon Hunter, Jacob Hunter and Joseph Hunter; two sisters, Regina Peters and Katherine Henson and four grandchildren, Alex Monroe, Sophia Monroe, Jordan Hunter and Haven Hunter. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Stacy Monroe; two sisters, Carol Stewart and Judy Wilkerson and brother, Randy Hunter.
