Robert Lester Standefer died of natural causes 21 June 2015 in Branson, MO.
He was born 20 June 1935 in Diamond, MO to parents Henry Lee and Florence Gladys Standefer. He was an extraordinary loving husband, father, brother, and friend leaving behind his wife Beverly (Bunts) Standefer, a sister Dorothy Gebhart, a daughter Sandra and her husband Robert Caouette, a son Scott A. Standefer, 2 step-sons Vinnie Manaktala and Teddy and his wife Kristine Manaktala, 5 grandchildren Scott (Andy) Standefer, Robert Standefer, Thomas Standefer, Colleen Caouette, and Renee Caouette, 2-step grandchildren James and Autumn Manaktala, and 5 great-grandchildren, Ian Standefer, Aidan Standefer, Braeden Morris, Addyson Standefer, and Reed Standefer. He was preceded in death by his first wife Julia Joan Rion, and 2 sisters Lois Edens and Irena Wells, and 2 brothers Ray and Leon Standefer.
His 80th birthday was celebrated by his family who came from coast-to-coast to celebrate his life and where he received his numerous nieces and nephews and his cousin Margie Oliver who he dearly loved.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday June 25, 2015 at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Neosho, Missouri. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. June 24, 2015 at Ulmer Funeral Home. Online condolences can be made at www.ulmerfh.com.
