Eugene Gilbert Burgos, age 83, Goodman, passed away at 11:30 p.m. Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Freeman Hospital after an illness.
Gene was born January 28, 1932 in Santa Clara, California to the late Antonio Burgos and Naomi Crouch Burgos and had lived in Southwest Missouri for several years. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He worked as a machinist and was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Gene is survived by his wife, Wanda; children, Eugene Gilbert II, Tammy, Susan, Ray, Teresa, David; brother; Bill, sisters; Jane and Caroline; 25 grandchildren; and 49 great grandchildren.
Gene was preceded in death by daughters, Nancy and Joanie; one brother, Tony.
Gene has been taken for cremation.
His ashes are to be scattered in the ocean at Monterey, California.
Arrangements are under the direction of Four State Cremation.
