James Lloyd Nimmo, 71, Joplin, died June 15, 2015 in Joplin, following an illness.
James was born March 15, 1944 in Ritchey, Missouri, the son of Lloyd and Bernice Nimmo. He was a lifelong area resident, a fire fighter and appliance repairman. He was a lifetime member of the Reding Mills Fire Department where he served on the board and as a volunteer fire fighter. He was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church.
James married Patricia Riddle Nimmo and she survives. He is also survived by two sons, James Nimmo, Jr. and Juana Lopez of Kansas City, MO and Andy Nimmo and wife, Lori of Joplin; three grandchildren, Chelsea, Garrett and Camille and a cousin, Larry Hines of Welch, Oklahoma.
