Mary Louise (Alumbaugh) Meyer, 82 of Carthage, Missouri passed away at Freeman hospital Joplin,May 26, 2015.
Mary was born September 11, 1932 in Reeds, MO to Ira Raymond Alumbaugh and Opal Grace (Smith) Alumbaugh. She was a dog groomer and owned and operated Mary’s Poodle Shop. She was a member of the Eastern Star Eminence Chapter #93.
Mary was united in marriage to John O. Meyer Jr.he preceded her in death in 1997. Mary is survived by one daughter Florence Meyer of Joplin, Richard Emery a friend of the home and several nieces and nephews Mary is preceded by her parents, husband, one sister Opal Kathleen Blair, four brothers Lloyd Alumbaugh, William Nelson Alumbaugh, James Alumbaugh and John Alumbaugh.
Graveside services were held Saturday May 30, 2015 at Emanuel Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.ulmerfh.com.
