(From Clark Funeral Home)Dylan Lee Mark, age 29, passed away on September 2nd at his home in Granby, Missouri. Dylan was born on October 7, 1992, at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. He was the son of Peggy Mark and Scott Mark.
Dylan enjoyed all types of music, songwriting, fishing, nature photography, meteorology, cooking, history, pool, and his dog, Bear. He spent much of his time caring for his mother, working on cars, putting things together and taking them apart, listening/playing/writing music, and hanging out with his friends.
Dylan is survived by his parents, siblings Megan Daniels and Heather Barker, grandmother Joyce Hawthorne, grandfather Harvey Brower, aunt Jennifer Sickinger, great aunt Marilee Griffin, four beautiful nieces, two nephews, several cousins, best friends Brian Breuil and Billy Morris, and many good friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Joanne Balmas, paternal great-grandparents Wilma and Harry Landreth, his half-brother Dustin Daniels, his Uncle Michael Brower, and maternal step-grandfather Donald Hawthorne.
Dylan will be laid to rest in Mound Chapel Cemetery in Stark City, Missouri near his grandmother and great-grandparents.
Arrangements entrusted to Clarks Funeral Home, Granby, Missouri. A celebration of life is scheduled for November 12, 2022, from 1-3 pm at the Newtonia Community Center for family and friends to celebrate Dylan’s life.
