Deborah Lundberg

Deborah Lundberg, 74, a long-time resident of Chico, CA went home to be with the Lord on September 3, 2024.She was born in California on June 28,1950 to Jess and Jean Higginbotham. She attended Biggs High School in Biggs, Ca. Graduating in 1968.

She was a beautiful, loving Wife, Mother, Grandma, Sister and friend. She had many hobbies including being a wonderful seamstress and cook. Loved to play the piano and her accordion, crochet, knit, craft, always ready for a game of UNO cards and spoiling her two dogs, Arnie and Willie. A friend to all and loved to talk, especially about Jesus. A blessing to all.








Deborah married the love of her life, Rodney, in 1985 and enjoyed traveling across the United States and Canada on their motorcycle with the Cal-Tex Riders. She worked in banking for many years before retiring. She devoted her life to God and family.

Deborah is survived by one daughter and one son, Shelly (spouse David) and Everett Jr. Two grandchildren, Chrystal and Christopher. Also surviving are one brother, Steve Higginbotham (wife Sue) and two younger sisters Beth Ramirez (husband Ruben) and Jill Mickelson (husband Ken). Many nieces and nephews she adored as well.

Deborah is preceded in death by her spouse, Rodney Lundberg and parents Jess and Jean Higginbotham.








Burial will be at Gridley-Biggs Cemetery in Gridley, California, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

You are missed beyond measure, Mom…until we meet again you will remain in our hearts. We love you!

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
