(From Fohn Funeral Home)Christopher Eric “Chris” Gatley, age 55, of Brookline, Missouri passed away Monday, May 25, 2026 at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, Missouri.
He was born November 10, 1970 in Rolla, Missouri, the son of William Stuart Gatley, Sr., and Betty (Jerome) Gatley.
Surviving are his father, William Stuart Gatley, Sr.; brothers, Stu Gatley and wife Debbie of Cassville, Missouri and Greg Gatley and wife Sarah of Fripp Island, South Carolina; nephews, Logan, Dylan, Tyler, and James and nieces, Kristin Houston and husband Gerald, Julie Popanz and husband Brad, Brittany Ball and husband Jaron, and Alana.
Preceding him in death was his mother, Betty Gatley.
Chris graduated from Cassville High School in Cassville, Missouri, later attending Southwest Missouri State where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business. Chris enjoyed boating, water skiing and taking care of his Clydesdale horses and his dogs.
Services are currently pending. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
