(From Peterson Funeral Chapel)Luella Mae (Benton) Maples, 86, of Marionville passed away Monday, May 18, 2026 in the Ozarks Methodist Manor. She was born August 8, 1939 in Aurora, Missouri, the daughter of Woodrow and Iniseta (Wise) Benton. She was an LPN for over 40 years, a member of the First Baptist Church in Marionville, MO., she enjoyed taking care of her house plants and sewing and embroidery.
Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Kenneth; two sons, Doug Maples and wife, Carla, and Paul Maples and wife Melinda; 3 grandchildren, Anna Maria Maples and husband, Mark Dobo, Samuel Maples and Boyd Maples; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Steven; brother, Darrell and a sister, Shirley.
Due to her request, there will be no funeral services.
Donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in care of the funeral home.
Arrangements are under the care of Peterson Funeral Chapel.
