Vernon, Missouri was called to his Heavenly home on Sunday May 10, 2026 while at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. He was born in Amarillo, Texas on February 10, 1977; the son of the late John and Marilyn (Dell) Moore. He was united in marriage on March 1, 2003 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas to Sarah Jackson; she survives.
He was disabled and attended Hill Creek Church in Pierce City, Missouri.
Michael is survived by his wife Sarah of the home; his bonus mother: Lacinda Moore of Clever, Missouri; four daughters: Payton Moore of Springfield, Missouri, Ashton Aust of Sedalia, Missouri, Alexis Moore of Wentworth, Missouri, and Kaylee Ward of Granby, Missouri; one brother: Jeremy Moore of Exeter, Missouri; two sisters: Tobie Jones of Buena Vista, Colorado and Ashley Brollier of Greenfield, Missouri; five grandchildren and one grandchild on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents John and Marilyn and one grandchild: Kadyn Michael Couch.
A viewing for family and friends is being held on Friday May 15, 2026 from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, Missouri.
