(From Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home)Freddie Lee Amos, 68, of Monett, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, while at Cassville Health Center in Cassville, Missouri. He was born in Kimball, Nebraska, on June 11, 1957, the son of the late Leon and Alona (Thurman) Amos. He was united in marriage on December 13, 1975, in Iola, Kansas, to Davena Parks; she survives.
He was a retired electrician and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Monett, Missouri.
Freddie is survived by his wife, Davena of the home; three sons: Travis Amos of Russellville, Arkansas, Randy Amos of Pierce City, Missouri, and David Amos of Monett, Missouri; one daughter: Tanya Lowry of Monett, Missouri; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Alona; one son, Justin Amos; and one daughter, Candi Brown.
No services for Freddie are scheduled at this time.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, Missouri.
