Ruth Thomas

Ruth Thomas, Reeds Spring, MO, daughter of Bruce and Dorthy (Moore) Seaton, was born on October 18, 1954, in Monett, MO, and departed this life on May 24, 2026, at the age of 71.

Ruth served her country in the US Air Force with five years active and twelve years in the Air Force Reserve. She worked at Walmart for sixteen years and was a member of Little Flock Church, Hurley, MO.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, one sister and two grandchildren.

Survivors include: her husband, Dale Thomas of Reeds Spring, MO; two sons, Brian Thomas and his wife, Andrea of Mobile, AL and Wade Thomas and his wife, Maureen of Reeds Spring, MO; three daughters, Cheryl Briant and her, husband Bam Bam of Joplin, MO, Chelly Martin and her husband, Randy of Neosho, MO and Crystal Fast and her husband, Eric of Jasper, MO; three brothers, Kenny Lingle and his wife, Perryleanne of Marionville, MO, Steven Seaton and his wife, Beni of Hurley, MO and Mark Seaton and his wife, Alice of Highlandville, MO; one sister, Martha Wynn and her husband, Darren of Palmer, TX; two brothers in law, Jim Thomas of Crane, MO and Freddie Thomas of Crane, MO; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 30, 2026, in Stumpff Funeral Chapel, Crane, MO. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 11:00 a.m. with Elder Bill Pollard officiating. Burial will be in Mars Hill Cemetery, Crane, MO under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Crane, MO.
