(From Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home)Harold Barney Harris, age 92, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, passed away at 8:12 a.m. on Friday, May 15, 2026, at his home. He was born July 17, 1933, in Williams, Arizona, the son of Louie and Ethel (Chilcoat) Harris.
Harold was a production manager of Nordskog Company in Van Nuys, California and was a member of the Mt. Vernon Christian Church.
On March 24, 1952, he married Norma Lee Crawford, in San Jose, California. She preceded him in death on March 9, 2020.
Harold is survived by two sons, Jerry Harris of Lebanon, Missouri, and Jeff Harris of Mt. Vernon, Missouri; one granddaughter, Brianna Hubler and her husband, John, of Webb City, Missouri and two great-grandchildren, Olivia and Bodie Hubler.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Louie, and Ethel; his wife, Norma, and four sisters, Betty Jean, Crystalee, Alice, and Frankie.
A graveside service under the direction of Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home, in Mt. Vernon, Missouri, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at Mt. Vernon IOOF Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, in the funeral home chapel.
