Tony Winkfield

Anthony “Tony/Tone” Donzell Winkfield was born in Kansas City, MO, on January 31, 1983, to Shawn Winkfield and Patricia Thorton. On Saturday, May 2, 2026, Anthony peacefully passed away after fighting a courageous battle against cancer at home in Joplin, MO, surrounded by his wife, Tajarae, older cousin/sister, Keischa, and his nurse/friend, Tabitha.

Tony was a loving and devoting husband and father that LOVED spending time with his family. March of 2013 is when he met the love of his life, Tajarae Bruenn and on May 16, 2014, they committed themselves to each other. They welcomed their first child in 2013.

For 12 years, he was an employee with Teleperformance, where he assisted customers by answering any questions or concerns, they may have had. He was known for his strong work ethics and dependability. In his free time, he loved watching horror movies, listening to music, playing video games, and cheering for the Kansas City Chiefs during football season.

Anthony had a beautiful smile, great personality, big heart and loved his family dearly. He is survived by his wife, Tajarae; their 6 beautiful children, Jurzie, Terik, Keensten, Brylee, Brynlee, and Jurnie; family, extended family and friends that will continue to keep his memory alive.

Cremation arrangements are under the special care and direction of Parker Mortuary.
