Pamela Finley

Pamela Jean Finley, 69, passed away Monday, May 11, 2026, in Joplin, Missouri. Pamela was born July 6, 1956, in Neosho, Missouri, to Frank Knorpp and Francis Irene Jeans (Knorpp) Finley. She graduated from Diamond High School in Class of 1974. 

Pamela was a longtime Newton/Jasper County resident. She had worked at Southwest Missouri Bank, Neosho Branch for 17 years. Pamela was an active volunteer with the Christopher Foundation. She enjoyed traveling and visiting National Parks (She had been to 47!). Pamela was a member of the Hope City Church in Joplin. 







Pamela was united in marriage to David Finley on September 2, 1994, in Diamond, Missouri; he survives. 

Pamela is survived by her loving husband, David; two sons, Daniel Scott Stone of Joplin, Missouri, and David Allen Finley of Anthony, Kansas; four daughters, Nicola “Niki” Jean Higgs of Joplin, Missouri, Teresa Suzanne Sutherland of Los Angeles, California, Katie Lynn Finley of Moran, Kansas, and Tia Marie Coleman of Aurora, Missouri; her mother, Francis Irene Jeans Finley of Diamond, Missouri; her stepmom, Marilyn “Muff” Knorpp of Joplin, Missouri; two brothers, Jacob Knorpp and John Tipping; ten sisters, Linda Steele, Carol Cobaugh, Stormi Beckham, Barbara Hirshey, Barbara Finley, Marty Caruthers, Angela Knorpp, Holly Hoyer, Susan Hill, and Margaret Wooldridge; twelve grandchildren; and lots of extended family. 

Pamela is preceded by her father, Frank Knorpp and stepfather, Bud Finley. 








A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 15, 2026, at Hope City Church in Joplin, Missouri. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Ulmer Funeral Home in Carthage, Missouri. Burial to follow her services at Fidelity Cemetery in Fidelity, Missouri.
