Carl Padilla

Carl David Padilla, Sr., age 65, of Goodman, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday evening, July 7, 2026, in the comfort of his home, after a recent battle with pancreatic cancer.

He was born on June 3, 1961, in Kansas City, Missouri, and was raised and attended school in Kansas City, Kansas. In 2005, he made his home in Goodman, Missouri, where he would spend the remainder of his life surrounded by the people and places he loved.







Carl was a hardworking and devoted man who spent several years serving as shop foreman at Bill's Automotive in Bentonville, Arkansas. He was respected for his strong work ethic, steady leadership, and the dependable way he carried himself each day.

He was a man of Christian faith, and his life reflected the values he held dear. He enjoyed playing and coaching softball and baseball, and he found great joy in farming and in spending time with his grandchildren.

Carl is survived by his seven children, C.J. Padilla of Kansas City, Kansas, Crystal Padilla and her wife Sadi of Independence, Kansas, Timothy Padilla of Independence, Kansas, Samuel Padilla of Bentonville, Arkansas, Sarah Partney and her husband A.J. of Neosho, Missouri, Carlie Padilla of Goodman, Missouri, and Hannah Padilla, also of Goodman, Missouri. He also leaves behind four grandchildren, Natilee, Jak, Malakai, and Madden, who brought him great happiness and pride. In addition, he is survived by six brothers, as well as a host of other family members and friends who will cherish his memory.








He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernesto Padilla and Margaret Gamino; stepfather, Roman Espinoza; and five siblings.

The family will receive friends on Friday evening, July 10, 2026 beginning at 5:00 p.m. at Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Missouri. Funeral services will follow at 6:00 p.m. with John Wade Officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Missouri.
