Jim Browne

James G. “Jim” Browne, 62, of Parsons, passed away Friday, July 3, 2026 at his home.

He was born on January 30, 1964 in Parsons to Ronald W. and Carolyn K. (Jump) Browne. Jim grew up in Parsons and graduated from Erie High School in 1982.

Jim worked at The Flesh Co. before working the last several years at Wave Wireless.






He loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing, gardening, cooking, grilling and smoking meats. He had a special interest in classic cars and traveling. Jim especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his daughter, Molly Browne and her fiancé, Cory Blumer and their daughter, Charlotte Grace Blumer of King City, MO; his siblings, Gregg Browne (Tanya) of Dennis, Tina Lavielle (Jim) of Elkhart, KS, Cindy Dunlap of Carson City, NV, Billy Browne (Susan) of Altoona, KS, Dustin Kolb of Joplin, MO, and Chad Kolb of Knob Noster, MO; an aunt and several uncles; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Joe Browne.








Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 10, 2026 at the Carson-Wall Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Wednesday. Burial will follow in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to an education fund for his granddaughter, Charlotte Grace Blumer. Checks should be made to Molly Browne and left at or mailed to the funeral home, P.O. Box 942, Parsons, KS 67357.
