(From Clark Funeral Home)Dwight Dean Liggett, 49, of Monett, Missouri, passed away July 18, 2026. He was born on January 10, 1977, in Purcell, Missouri.
Dwight will be remembered for his love of family and friends, his passion for music, his enjoyment of cooking, and his love of motorcycles. Above all, he cherished the time he spent with the people who meant the most to him.
Dwight is survived by his sons, Troy Dean Liggett of Yazoo City, Mississippi; Jared Ray Williams and spouse, Cole A., of Goodman, Missouri; Trenton Q. Liggett and spouse, Octavia, of Monett, Missouri; his daughter, Anna Atkinson and spouse, Josh Smith, of Ohio; and his beloved grandchildren, Adeline Mae Liggett and Treyon Q. Liggett.
Additional survivors include his father, William R. Liggett and wife, Marissa, of Butterfield, Missouri; the mother of his children, Kristi Dawn Whittington of Goodman, Missouri; sister, Marcel Quintela; brothers, Allen Quintela, Walden Liggett, and David Liggett; Angelina Liggett; along with many extended family members and dear friends.
Dwight was preceded in death by his mother, Letisha Quintela, and his paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Mary Liggett.
A Memorial Service for Dwight Dean Liggett will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, July 27, 2026, with a visitation to follow; until 5 pm., at Clark Funeral Home in Neosho, Missouri.
