(From Clark Funeral Home)Rose Marie Kalmbach, 91, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2026, at Communities of Wildwood Ranch. She was born on October 28, 1934, in Detroit, Michigan, to Adam and Stephanie (Radowiec) Niezgoda.
On March 5, 1951, Rose married the love of her life, Robert Kalmbach, in Detroit, Michigan. Together they built a life centered on love, hard work, and family, sharing more than six decades of marriage until Robert's passing on August 19, 2012.
Above all else, Rose's heart belonged to her family. She loved deeply and unconditionally, always finding joy in the time she spent with her children, grandchildren, and loved ones. Her family was her greatest accomplishment and the center of her world. She had a remarkable way of making those around her feel loved, welcomed, and cared for, and the memories she created with them will be treasured forever.
Rose embraced life's simple pleasures. She loved going to work, getting lost in a good book, or spending an afternoon shopping. Her children often smiled when they said she was "good at everything," a testament to her determination, confidence, and willingness to tackle whatever life placed before her. Whether helping someone in need, learning something new, or simply offering a listening ear, Rose had a quiet strength that inspired those around her.
She also found great purpose in serving others through her work. As a door greeter at Walmart for many years, Rose genuinely loved meeting people. Her warm smile, kind words, and friendly spirit brightened the days of countless customers and coworkers alike. She never met a stranger and believed everyone deserved to be greeted with kindness.
Those who knew Rose will remember her generous heart, her unwavering devotion to her family, and the gentle way she made people feel valued. Though her presence will be deeply missed, the love she shared and the lessons she taught through her example will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
