(From Buchanan Funeral Home)Judy Guthrie passed away peacefully on July 29, 2026, in the comfort of her own home, surrounded by her family and loved ones.
Judy was born on January 2, 1947, in Oracle, Arizona, to Louise Morris and Raymond Revis. She resided in Columbia, Missouri, at the time of her passing.
Judy leaves behind her loving daughters, Jessica Copenhaver, Amanda Eason, and Crystal Guthrie; her sister, Pamela Williams; her cherished grandchildren, Cody, Cory, Hallie, Serenity, Cayden, Caleb, Colby, Milayah, Brandon, Bailey, Timothy, and Roger; as well as 13 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Roxy, along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.
A successful business owner, Judy proudly owned and operated a bar and grill for 23 years. She had a vibrant personality and truly embraced life. She loved country music, spending time on the boat at Table Rock Lake, dancing on bars, and trying her luck at the casino. Her laughter, adventurous spirit, and ability to bring people together made her unforgettable.
Above all else, Judy's greatest joy was her family. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren with all her heart and treasured every moment she spent with them. Her love, strength, and lively spirit will continue to inspire all who knew her.
Judy was preceded in death by her beloved son, Timothy Lecure; her parents, Louise Morris and Raymond Revis; her brothers, Ronnie Milward, Michael Revis, and Bucky Brandt; and her sisters, Charlene Hagabush and Carlene Morrison.
As a final symbol of the unbreakable bond they shared, Judy will be laid to rest with her beloved son, Timothy, and her cherished dog, Sammie.
Though Judy's physical presence is no longer with us, the memories she created, the love she shared, and the lives she touched will remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 3, 2026, at I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Monett. Duane Garren will be officiating. Visitation will be Monday, from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett. Arrangements have been entrusted to Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett, MO.
